Hi! I’m Paige — I’m 24 and work full time as a Judicial Specialist for the State of Iowa in Cass County. While I truly love my job, I found myself craving something more — something that was mine. A creative outlet where I could make the rules, take risks, and build something from the ground up. That’s how 712company was born.
Working a “normal” 9–5 can start to feel like you’re stuck in a loop. Same routine, different day. I wanted to break that cycle and create a space where I could express myself fully — no limitations, no one telling me what’s “too much” or what’s “professional.” Just me, choosing the direction.
What Does 712company Mean?
I’ve grown up in the same small-town community my whole life — and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I love that when you go on a walk, run to the grocery store, or grab dinner, you’re almost guaranteed to bump into someone you know. There’s comfort in that familiarity. That closeness. That realness.
But when it comes to shopping, we don’t have many local options — only big corporations. And let’s be honest, how many times have you had nothing to wear and no time to drive to the city? (Too often for me!) That’s why I started 712company: to bring something fresh, fun, and local to our area. An approachable, affordable option that’s right here in town.
The name comes from our area code — 712 — because I’m proud of where I’m from and want to root my business in that same sense of community. I added “company” because I don’t want to limit myself to one category or product. Shirts today, who knows what tomorrow? This is just the beginning.
